Whidden Commits to UCF

Countryside forward Courtney Whidden has orally committed to play for UCF beginning in the 2006-2007 season. Whidden won the St. Pete Times All-Pinellas County Girls Soccer Player of the Year for her play at Palm Harbor University High School.

She had 29 goals and 10 assists for the Hurricanes last season.
