Lauren Hyde Commits to Florida

June 16, 2005 - Lauren Hyde, the central defender for the Carmel United Cyclones, has verbally committed to the University of Florida for the 2006-2007 season

Carmel United is one of the better clubs in the country and Hyde is captain of the Cyclone team. The team won the Disney Showcase in 2003 and was a finalist in 2004.

Hyde has been invited to the ODP regional camp in July. She is an honor roll student at Bishop Chatard High School. She was selected to the All-City team and was second team All-State.

The quality of the education and the chance to play for one of the nations top teams attracted Hyde to Florida.
