Kendall Rising U15 Girls Are Finalists at Score at the Shore

The Kendall SC rising U15 girls finished their U14 tournament season by reaching the final at the prestigious Score at the Shore tournament in Greensboro North Carolina. After going undefeated in group play they faced a tough challenge against the Beach FC Piranhas in the semi-final. The match went back and forth and ended in a 2-2 tie. It was straight to penalty kicks where the Blue Angels prevailed. In the final the team was up against a very good Novi Jaguar team from Michigan. The Michigan team took an early 1-0 lead and held it to the half. Two quick goals after the break put the Michigan team up 3-0. The Angels fought back to make it 3-2 and were pressuring to get the equalizer as time ran out. With an overall record of 4 and 1 this was a positive way to end a very successful tournament season. Now it is on to the U15 season that starts at the Disney Showcase Qualifier Labor Day Weekend.
