Kendall girls and Cutler Ridge

The Kendall Soccer Coalition U-15 girls team, played their first game in
the South Florida United boys league, and come away with a tie.
In a very exciting game, the Kendall girls put on a display of soccer
skills, that even left the Cutler Ridge parents talking. Ten minutes
into the first half, two quick passes out of there defensive half put
Jasmine Patterson into the Cutler Ridge penalty box, she then crossed a
perfect ball to Scarlet Montoya who put the ball into the back of the
net, giving the Kendall girls a early league.
Right before the end of the first half, Cutler Ridge scored the
equalizer. The second half saw a outstanding display of passing skills
by Kendall, giving them four scoring chances against the keeper, who
stopped all four holding up the 1 -1 score. On the other end the Kendall
keeper Kelley Struyf had one great saves on a long distance shot by
Cutler Ridge.
The game ended with a 1 -1 tie on a very hot day, both teams showed
great sportsmanship at the end of the game, shaking each others hand
congratulating each other on a great game.
This game gave the Kendall girls a great boost for next weekend, heading
to the Showcase Qualifier in Orlando.
