Renegades win opener at Regionals

Renegades started southern regionals against Busa Jets from Alabama.

The first 15 minutes were fairly even as both teams struggled on the turf field, but as the first half wore on the Renegades started to take control of the game. Two goals from Mel Steinberg in the last 12 minutes of the half gave the team a comfortable 2-0 lead.

The second half was more of the same with the Renegades in control of the game. Sammi West scored the 3rd goal after a great run and cross from Brittany Mcdowell. Megan Sweeney had 3 saves for the shutout.
