Kendall Soccer Blue Angel U-16 Champions

In a crazy weather weekend, the Kendall Soccer Blue Angels put on a display of both offensive as well as defensive power. In five game Kendall produced 21 goals and a stingy defense and great keeping allowed no goals. Kendall started the tournament beating Central Florida United 10 – 0 with 5 different players scoring. The second game was a sloppy and soggy game against HC United, Kendall started off fast scoring 2 quick goals, before HC United settle down and started to press. The defense held on and the keeper came up with some key saves preserving the 2 – 0 win. On Sunday, a very windy day, found Kendall once again getting the upper hand against Space Coast United, winning 5 – 0.

Monday had RSL and Kendall in an intense battle through the whole game, with the first half ending 0 – 0, it was anyones game, Kendall came up big scoring 3 goals with the last one coming seconds before the end of the game, once again the defense and keeper came up big in this win. Finally, the final found Kendall from Florida pitted against Norcross of Georgia, with both team having played 4 games by this point, these ladies found energy enough to play an exciting 70 minute game filled with suspense. Kendall struck first at the start of the first half, this proved to be the winning goal, Kendall held on with a complete team effort.
