Pressley, Edwards Featured On ESPN’s Top 10 Plays
The Seminole duo connected on the first goal of a 5-0 Florida State
victory Thursday night.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – How good was the first goal in Florida State’s 5-0
victory over No. 16 Wake Forest. Good enough to earn a spot on ESPN’s
Top 10 plays from Thursday night.
Freshman Toni Pressley got the ball rolling for the Seminoles connecting
on a header inside the left post in the 32nd minute to give Florida
State the early lead. Junior Becky Edwards received a pass from
sophomore Rachel Lim and sent a beautiful ball into the box where
Pressley timed her run perfectly redirecting the ball into the net for
her second goal of the season.
