USF FALLS TO CINCINNATI, 1-0
TAMPA – The No. 11/12 University of South Florida men’s soccer team fell
to the Cincinnati Bearcats, 1-0, in chilling temperatures in Ohio on
Tuesday night, Oct. 28.
The Bulls fall to 10-4-2 overall and 6-3-1 in the BIG EAST conference,
while Cincinnati is 7-8-2 and 4-5-1 in conference play.
While USF and Cincinnati was evenly matched at four a piece going into
the half, the Bulls outshot the Bearcats eight to seven overall but was
unable to put on in the goal.
In the 50th minute, the Bearcats scored the only goal of the night. Paul
Hoste shot it past USF goalkeeper Jeff Attinella after a pass from Matt
Bahner.
The Bulls will look to rebound against Rutgers for senior night on
Saturday, Nov. 1, at 7:30 p.m at the USF Soccer Stadium.
