PBSA Nomads U-13 Girls win the 2009 FAU 5 v 5 Tournament

The Palm Beach Soccer Academy U-13 Girls continue their dominance of the FAU 5v5 tournament. Since their first appearance in 2004, this group of girls have dominated their age bracket at the FAU 5v5 tournament. They topped it off this year by winning the U-13 Navy (Division I) Bracket.

In their first game, the Nomads faced a strong attack from a physical Miramar Strikers team. The Nomads, however, were able to hold the Strikers off and win the game 5-1.

The Nomads continued their winning by beating Team Boca White Duex in their second game by a score of 6-1.

Wellington wave Blue, who also had won their first two games, was the Nomads opponent in the third game. The Nomads shut the Wellington girls out by a score of 6-0. Thus winning their group (B).

Advancing to finals, the Nomads ended up facing the winner of group A, Boca United Gold. The Nomads emerged victorious by a score of 5-1.

The team consisted of Andrea Delgado, Macayla Edwards, Alana Grnja, Caitlin Kader, Taylor Pak, Alexandra Pallo, Julianna Rubin, and Katherine Weiss.
