Piper grad named head coach at Michigan

Chaka Daley; a 1992 graduate of Piper High School, who coached at
Providence College for the past 12 years was announced as the 2nd head
coach in Michigan's history today. Chaka was a two year starter and two
time All-Broward selection in both the Miami Herald and Sun-Sentinel
publications while at Piper. He moved to Sunrise prior to his junior
year from Toronto, Canada and was part of a district and regional
championship team in 1992. He went on to be a 4 year starter and captain
while at Providence.
