Sunrise Fire Win Championship
Melbourne, Florida (September 5, 2005) - The Sunrise Fire (u13 girls) won the championship at the Labor Day Challenge. The team lost in their first two games, dropping the opener to the Shockerz by a 4-1 score and then to the MEGU Fusion 2-1, but after that they were perfect. Sunrise knocked off Gulf Coast United 4-1, followed by a 2-1 win over the Heat. That put them in the championship against the Shockerz. This time around the Fire took care of business and won by a 4-0 score to win the title.
