The U10s played two games this weekend and remain undefeated but not untied. Sunrise tied Delray in another great game between the two teams.  Delray had the better of play early on but Sunrise played better in the second half and came on very strong towards the end of the game. The team generated lots of very good opportunities but Delray did enough to keep the ball out of the net. The girls continued to impress with fantastic passing. Mary Amos, the Sunrise keeper, also did her share to keep Delray scoreless. This was a terrific game for both teams and ended 0-0. These two teams have now played each other eight times and the series stands at 3-3-2.

The 10s ended the weekend with a match against PBU. The girls picked up right where they left off against Delray with pinpoint passing that had the ball darting all over the field both horizontally and vertically. The team scored two successive goals in the game in a similar manner just a few minutes apart when Melissa Curran, Brittany Simpson, Sydney Talbot and Dallas Dorosy combined on consecutive passes to move the ball from deep in the defensive third on the right side across the field to the left and then forward into the offensive third for the goals. Other goals were scored by Taylor Shore, Julia Jaffe and Mary Amos as the team won 6-2. The U10s are 7-0-1.
