Sunrise U15 Premier Wins and Ties

The U14 team looks good in first scrimmage against Parkland

Sunrise, Florida (August 11, 2007) - The u15 Premier team opened up the Florida State League by playing host to IUS and Maitland (both from the Orlando area). The team played Maitland in the first game and won 4-1. Tatiana Penagus had three goals in the winning effort. Premier had about 30 shots in this game. In the second game of the day, the girls took on IUS, the fifth ranked team in the state. This game was a tale of two halves. Sunrise out played IUS in the first half, but the roles reversed in the second half. However, neither team could manage to score, and the game ended in a 0-0 tie. Goalkeeper Rebecca Rogers picked up the shutout for Sunrise and had some good saves.

The u14 team, playing in their first scrimmage of the year, took on Parkland. The girls looked pretty good and won 5-0.
