With regular season over the U14 Girls team entered the South Florida Spring Fling to have fun and keep in shape. Sunrise played 4 games of group play winning all four games. The first game on Friday was against Weston Ricon. Sunrise won 1-0. The second game on Friday was against the Boynton Knights. The Boynton Knights scored early in the game and at half time it was still 1-0 with Boynton leading. With only 10 minutes left in the game , Sunrise Fire came alive and scored two goals for a 2-1 win. On Sat our first game was against a very good team, Keys Krush. Most of the players were playing different positions than they normally play and still came out to win 2-1. The second game on Sat against Weston Olmo  started out in torrential rains then was postponed due to lighting. After a long delay the game restarted even though it was still raining so hard .Sunrise Fire took the lead early and ended the game with a score of 2 -1.

Sunday’s championship game was against Weston Olmo again. Sunrise was ready to take all and it showed. All the players played very hard and won with a score of 3-1.

It was a very fun tournament for the girls and their families on Easter weekend.
