About

The Sunrise Soccer Club is a City program run by the City of Sunrise. This site is not affiliated with the City. The City does not have a website for the soccer program so this site is maintained by coaches and parents of the City teams to keep our players, parents and other interested parties informed about Sunrise soccer.

Sunrise is a small club that concentrates on hard work, superior skills, and smart play in a friendly, but competitive environment. Our focus is on developing technically advanced players that love the game and that play within a sophisticated team framework. This philosophy has been instrumental in consistently producing successful results, both at the individual and the team level. For example, many of our players made All County and All State teams in high school. Two of our players picked up very prestigious awards, one was named the Sun Sentinel Player of the Year and another with named the Florida Player of the Year. In club play, our teams put together another solid year, as indicated below:

Rising U12 girls - President's Cup Semi-finalist
Rising U14 girls - State Cup champions
Rising U15 girls - FLUGSA D2 playoff champions and regular season first place
Rising U16 girls - Region Cup D2 champions
Rising U17 girls - President's Cup champions
Rising U18 girls - State Cup Elite Eight

We also have a rising u10 team. For next year, we are looking to add a u9 team and possibly a u11 and u13 team. On the boys side, we are also looking to add several teams.

The best way to judge our club is to watch our teams practice or play and notice the high level of skill and the enthusiasm that they display whenever they take the field.
